Mana Soundbase

I still can't bring myself to put a mana stand next to my Quadraspire rack, just too ugly!... but I really need to put the LP12 on something like this to give it a little more snap.

Has anybody heard the LP12 on a Soundbase, any idea how this would sound sitting on top of the Quadraspire Q4? Would this be comparable to a dedicated Mana table?

Any help greatly appreciated...

I think the device for the task you describe is the Mana Sound Frame. I believe the difference is that the Bases come with a laminated board, whereas the frame comes with the damped glass, however, there may be other differences. From the blurb I've read, the wall shelf would be better, but from chatting to the friendly guy at the Mana factory (I forget his name), the sound frame isn't a dead end if you decide to get more Mana. I'd give him a bell, he was super helpful. The number is on the mana website.

I second Mekon's post. Sound Bases go under speakers or speaker stands.
Mana isn't pretty, but music sounds better in a dark room anyway.
