Only if they can't find out what failed, so dramatically.
I say dramatically as he was braking at 5+ G from 185+ mph, it's at these extremes that small failures turn into huge crashes.
Dramatic but MAYBE simples to fix.

Update, data says he was doing 194 mph when he hit the brakes.
