Years ago a friend who lives near Pasadena siad she gave a recital in a small wonderful college auditorium, unknown then and he was 4 rows back center. Next year, same auditorium, sold out.
She has cancelled many times because she doesn't like to travel, probably a phobia thing combined with being Italian and pressures of performance.
