*** Goddess of my youth.

Absolutely no contest . I sidled into a showing of "And God Created Women" and there she was,
Brigette Bardot, she had it all.
The only one to come near her was Rita Hayworth. Now if she had been French...

Raquel Welch in that absurd suede bikini pretending to be prehistoric got me rather excited.

Jane Fonda did it for me. My tongue nearly hit the floor during Barbarella.

The effect that Ingrid Pitt had on my adolescent hormones cannot be overstated.
Anyone remember the classic "Vampire Lovers"
Pass the kleenex.

Oh I love the Vampire Lovers. The book is good too ('Carmilla' by Sheridan Le Fanu). But this is the girl who rocked my teenage heart (she was in VL as well.)
Madeline Smith
I saw Ingrid Pitt give a talk a couple of years ago at my art house Cinema after a showing of 'Countess Dracula'. She was absolutely brilliant.

What a top picture! Yes Madeleine Smith; drool. Remember THAT scene in VL? Couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw that film on "Appointment With Fear".
Way back in the 70s she was in a Tv advert (I think for shampoo or something similar) where she is a helpless young maiden, kidnapped by a viking who hoists her over his shoulder. Her very low cut dress only just manages to contain her spilling bosom. OK a bit naff and very anti PC in 2005 but awesome when you're a teenager and your hormones are in freefall!
Last year a friend of mine attended a film type event and he met Ingrid Pitt. He even managed to get a signed photo (Ingrid naked in bath) with a personal message for me. He said she was delightful, and still very attractive despite being in her early 60s.

Yup. Me too. Gabrielle Drake as Lieutenant Gay Ellis. And she's Nick Drake's sister.
When I was younger, I used to have the most enormous horn for Annette O'Toole:
I think it was the voice.
Oh, and Natalia Vavilova, but I can't find any decent pictures of her.
Well, there's this one...

If I'm allowed back for seconds, I'd like to nominate Julie Christie (not that she'd come second to anyone, really).
