Can you speak to its function? Any issues? Speed? It is basically the same as the remote app? Anything different either way?

I am assuming you can change the icons at the bottom to other filter views? Would you mind letting us know what others are available besides Album, Artist, Genre, New etc...

You can drag any of these icons to the bar at the bottom, as desired. When you start the app, it will always go to the first screen in the list.
The speed seems good. I think it's only transferring minimal information over the network, and as long as it knows where the HDX is (a one time setup), it all runs pretty smoothly.
The only glitch is that sometimes when you press-and-hold a track to get the info, the artwork doesn't always come up, but hey.

If I really had to criticise (I must I must), it would be so nice to be able to talk to the 552 to have volume and mute buttons, but I guess that's going to be next-gen stuff (unless there's a remote HDX command for mute and/or volume). When I played with the LinnDS, that was something you could do from the RC app IIRC.
