Thought I'd pass on a wee Nordic gem I first heard on Mary Anne Kennedy's Global Gathering programme on Radio Scotland.

SM is a fine fiddle player and singer in the Celtic tradition, if it weren't sung in Norwegian you'd swear it was Gaelic.
Her new album 'Sandkorn', contains a number of translated and famous Rabbie Burns songs as well as a lot of her own compositions. If you like for example Eddie Reader, Karen Matheson, Julie Fowlis it's worth a listen.
