Wish I could see it. I have his last CD...not too bad at all. Actually, one of his better ones and he was usually pretty good. Bill Bob even appears as a guest background singer on one track. Other notable guests include Springsteen and Ry Cooder.

"The wind" is actually a great album. In particular, Zevon's version of "knocking on heavens door" is a ripper and the last song "keep me in your heart" which was virtually recorded on his deathbed, is poignancy personified.

Anyone else see the prog?
I'm having a blast of the first album right now.
Thanks Warren.
Rest In Peace.

Caught some of the prog. It was a bit weird having a guy making his own in memorium video. It was sad and uplifting as well he seemed determined to "hold on" until Winds was finished and his 2 grandchildren had been born.
I'll probably give the album a go soon.

I thought it was seriously good! He was a witty guy - such a shame. Performed superbly on the Letterman show with only months to live. At one point Springsteen comes in and plays a stunning guitar solo as a run-through! Must buy the album.
Of course Werewolves is one of the best singles ever and Mick Fleetwood's finest hour.
