Problems connecting to this forum (?)

Is it just me or is anyone else having intermittant problems connecting to this forum? It's been problematic for weeks now (and getting worse).

Sometimes at the weekends It can take a long time to bring up a thread irrespective of the number of posts within. Other times the just seem tp appear almost instantaneously. I'm using broadband.

Hi Syd,

Broadband here also. I have the Naim forum's "homepage" set as my homepage and it takes forever to load quite frequently(sometimes not even loading for 5 or 6 attempts...even after cookies/temp files cleared or closing my browser). Time periods don't seem to matter--it can happen on weekdays/nights or weekend days or nights.

Hi all,

Yes, I've noticed it too, especially at home.

Infopop is off-line on Tuesday morning around 6-7 am BST (see earlier thread) for essential maintenance so hopefully things should move a bit faster afterwards.

FWIW, whatever Infopop did...worked. No connectivity or page-load problems post- maintenance.

Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though there here to stay oh I believe in yesterday...blah blah blah......but now I need a place to hide away...the naim forum the naim forum!

I lost my connection yesterday, only to return this morning. BT were having a broadband crisis & its fixed now. Shame I didn't know earlier 'cos I blamed my office network and took the whole building apart before sussing it was BT. Stupid of me really not to investigate properly, but thats just me Roll Eyes

Yes I agree that the problems with connecting and moving from page to page seem to have disappeared. Much more fun to use now
