Well I call that a step backward. Does it mean I'll need to buy a 65 inches Kuro while some are still available?? Not on my budget

Wondered why Pioneer brought out a 50" Kuro with 1360*768 and with Full HD, but the 42" only with 1024*768 which is a bit out of time. Now I got the answer!
What a pity because I liked the pio with their very good black levels and brilliant colours.
But other mothers have got beautiful doughters too.

i read elsewhere that its only the 42" that are going but it didnt say whether they were the kouro range or the other range (now upto 8th series i believe)

Not surprised. Everybody bought cassette decks when real-to-real was much better. VHS was worse than Beta and won the video war. Today people are much more interested in downloading silly MP3 instead of buying DVD-Audio/SACD.
So why should it be any different with TV-screens?
