Vinyl is back in Israel

Two days ago, at the main evening news in the Israeli second channel, they gave a report about the vinyl phenomenal.

Many youth (in Israel) are going to buy vinyl instead of CD’s. They gave few short interviews with youth and one expert (seems to be one to their mind) that explain that the vinyl sounds
better than the CD.

They said that they don’t understand why vinyl is coming back, but as there are many sites from which these youth can download music for free, it is obvious that the price is not the cause .

According to this report, there is a growing demand for vinyl in Israel.

There seems to be an increase for Vinyl everywhere. Is this just a passing fashion, nostalga, or is vinyl truely the best source?

I don't think it is a nostalga for youth at their 20th - as they didn't see a record in their life ...

But have you noticed how many fashions of the Seventies are now back in fashion.

Abba are experiencing a revival and many seventies groups are experiencing a similar revival.

Why not vinyl??

Probably just a short-term fashion thing - I expect they'll all go off the idea when they discover they won't fit in a Walkman wink
