Price of 135's

I have been offered a pair of 1992 135's, one owner, recently serviced by Naim, for £2700. Is this a fair price ?

I was offered a provisional £4500 in April for my four pack(1993+6)/SNAXO (1997)/Supercap (1997)against a NAP 500. This broke down to £1500 a pair 135s, Supercap £1100 and SNAXO £400.

I didnt even arrange the dem!

There was a pair in Loot recently for £1500 (old style) and another (presumably new style) for £2000.

Sounds good to me.

Some of you seem to have misinterpreted Bosh's post. What he is saying is that he was offered derisory amounts for his gear against the price of a new 500 and on that account he did not arrange a demonstration.
He is contrasting the £1500 which the dealer offered him for his 135's against the £2700 which I have been quoted for supply.

Spot on David, definitely derisory

The dealers 500 markup must be in the region of £3-4K so I would have expected to be offered nearer £5.5k trade in on kit that retails for almost £11K

But then I do originate from Yorkshire!

Hakan,

Just to set things straight: I'm not "Lasse" as in Lasse's HiFi.

How much did you pay for your 250? Are you happy with the CD5?

Sorry, I'm of the topic.
