Series 5 question

Ok, suppose you have only enough $$$ for two black boxes. Either the nait5/FC2 combo or a 112/150 combo. AND suppose that upgradability is NOT an issue because you are done after this (I can barely type it with a straight face).
Which of these combos will give you the most hollar for the dollar?

well I´ve got a Nait 5/FC2 comb
Why don´t you buy a 112/150 and when possible a Hi cap s/h for your pre?
Nait 5 is a great amplifier but a pre/power it´s another thing
MY system : Naim Nait 5 amplifier,Naim cd 5 ,Epos M 15 speakers,Naca5,FC2

You're using Ela MkI, right?
Personally I'd do the Nait5/FC2.
If you do 112/150, the thought of not having the offboard PS for your preamp will gnaw away at you like an earwig boring its way into your cerebral cortex.
You'll be upgrading before the summer's over.
With the Nait, at least you can rest easy knowing that you have a highly sought after Naim integrated amp maxed out with the optional power supply.

As in Ela 2000?
If you can resell them at no loss, I say "why not"?
Interested in what you think of them.

Im a current user of nait5/fc2-->ela mk2a.
Can drive the ela no problem, it really depend on how loud you play & genre of song you listen. And when there is dough in your pocket you will wonder next how will it improve with the 20 more watt.
I am in that Situation now
