I have just watched some footage of Morcheeba at Glastonbury and what a fabulous live act they are, the albums are well worth checking out as well.

Agreed... great stuff. The 'Who can you trust' album seems to be their strongest and should be the first one sought. They have an almost undefinable hybrid of shoe-gazer slow paced music with jazzy overtones. Recorded quality is on the very good-to-excellent, a welcome bonus that makes their music even more accessible.

Dunno about that Ron. "Who Can you Trust" is good but "Big Calm" is fantastic. Not sure about their latest one though.

I saw them live whilst at uni, back in 1998 at the Leeds Town and country club and it was one of the best atmosphere gigs I can recomend, no doubt enhanced by the fact that it was relativly small venue.

I agree - seeing them live made me buy the albums the next day, but they don't quite capture the same emotions.
I was very impressed by the musical range, their guitarist proving to be very talented indeed.

Well I think "Who Can you Trust" is very good, but Big Calm did not grab me in the same way. However I think their latest 'Charanga'? is there best yet.

Their latest outing Charango is very good. I liked almost all the songs on it especially the title track, Charango.
Interestingly, this is one of those few albums that I bought which my wife actually likes it.
