Yes, and in time honoured tradition she won't get any with the company she is keeping. The press seem like they want her that way.

I like the voice but she's always been a mess when I've caught tv glimpses of her too. I wouldn't chance a gig.

any fans?

In chez Rotf, I'd have to say No, No, No.

She's OK, but they're are lots of artists I'd sooner listen to. Really just heard her on the TV though.

I agree she needs help.

Having heard her set at Glastonbury I thought I would give her CD a try. Not the best production I fear and it sounds very poor on my system, which is a pity as the music has an appeal.

Annoying voice, annoying attitude not for me. I agree though she needs help and soon.
Perhaps Babyshambles can help?

She was very, very good when we saw her in 2002; awesome range, clever delivery and just all round good entertainment. We still like her but, yes, she's on the slope.

Her stuff is definitely not my bag of fish - well, pop music isn't my bag of fish! - but she's a cut above the usual Radio 2 crud.

I don't like that kind of pop jazzy things as well but i think she has a very good voice which needs to become a little bit more mature.
Producers always put you in a hurry...........
If they only could leave her singing out of the charts i think she could do very good things.

Just heard her again live from her concert recording, damned awful what a shame. SHe used to be good and Back to Black sounds quite good on my system although CD source not great (might have helped?).

ACctually, I'm not that fond of her Valerie cover and what does she mean she's such a fan of the Zutons so wanted to do a cover version of Valerie.

Check your music history Amy...

I think she's great with a fantastic voice but also that she desperately needs a lengthy time out to sort herself out. She's gone from a voluptuous, gregarious and funny Jewish girl to a scrawny, drug addled, drunken mess.

That said, I saw her at Cambridge earlier this year and she was great (only one drink (or glass?) all night).

I bought 'Frank' when it came out and thought it had a lot of potential. I don't know about the quality of the production but 'Back to Black' is my favourite album of the year. It may have stolen hook line and sinker some of the classic soul grooves but is very poppy, heartfelt and bears many repeated listens.

Live I saw her on the Glastonbury TV coverage and she was lacking in any stage prescence. Saw her on 'Mercury Prize' show singing one song and she was class.

Her life however is classic car crash. She does in manyways resemble Pete Docherty but strangely Docherty seems to be promoted as the epitome of cool. The kids I work with that take Heroin and Crack certainly don't look cool.

The boyfriend seems equally to be incredibly impulsive and they seem to have very little incentive to stay clean.

Hope she sorts it out - in my eyes she is a massive talent but she may well end up a dead one.

I think both albums are fantastic.
