not much of a gap to the SuperUniti.
It appears NAIM are still working on CD players then.
uh....I just bought the orginal NaimUniti.....should have waited....

Yes - unless you got it much cheaper and are very happy with it

I just received the UnitiServe last week for regular price and now of course they have updated it to a 2 TB drive.
Oh dear! Product obsolescence already
Just glad I went for the UServe SSD a few weeks ago - Dont think I would be very happy otherwise.....
Audio 1 - Don't suppose you can still return it under first 30 day rule and then order the new one?!
Fairly pointless - at that price buy a SU.
Fantastic upgrade to the uServe though - they have put a 2TB hdd in it

I may have to look into that!
I wonder if they can upgrade existing uServes to the 2TB drive?
Keith
Wonder if it is still worth to get the Superuniti, now that the uniti 2 is out. I wonder how long until a Superuniti 2 will be out?

Same for older HDX versions, mine is 2*400GB...

Michel
Still no AirPlay…
Simon
I have actually paid not bad price and I really like it so after reflection I am OK with it. I only hope that the 'old' NaimUniti will be fully supported software wise and not left behind the updated unit.
Is this the future we were wanting?

I'm in the market for that HDX upgrade too, but could they also transfer our existing data to the new discs?

I was hoping that something else would be announced, a SuperDac or a modernized line of preamplifiers that can be controlled from iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The current classic line of preamplifiers is ten years old now.
Is this the future we were wanting?
Yes it is progress ... if it is new then it must better, musn't it?

I think you can now store your downloads on it and it'll stream FLAC just like a Vortexbox and it supports ALA and AIFF and AAC - so I think it is a big improvement ....... I'm not sure if it'll rip to FLAC and transcode on the fly to WAV, but think it might.
I think the Uniti 2 looks pretty good as it is like the SU with a CD player for those times when you just feel the desire to spin some silver
I think the new products look pretty good ....
Still no airplay though
Yes they could. Whether that's part of the update service, I don't know, but I would hope so.
Do you have any disk space (PC or external USB hard drive) where yould copy the contents of your 'MQ' folder before the update... then just copy it back to the new US and do a 'rescan' of the music store...
