NAS storage

If / when I get hold of a NAS storage device how no I physically make a back up from a Unitiserve...I am a mac user so don't have dtc...will the nas drive just "see" the Unitiserve and then back up ?...I presume I do actually need a separate NAS device, I already have a hard drive for back up connected to my iMac which uses time machine..is it even possible to back up just the Unitiserve ?   Simple answers please!

Your time machine can do the back up, just add the Server's Music directory to its folders to back-up.

Or find a PC and setup the back-up in Destop Client.

I created a share on my NAS drive for UnitiServe backups.

In the web client for the Unitiserve you can set up the backup to be directed to this share.  It will then automatically back up and you can later check to verify that the back-up was successful.

Sorry!!

I am speaking of accessing the control screen for your UnitiServe using its IP address in a web browser.

You will find the IP address listed for easy viewing in the NServe app.

Just type it in the web browser address bar and you can then set-up and control all functions on you UnitiServe.
