HDMI parallel to Power

Hi,

We are renovating so I asked my sparkie to chase cable runs into the wall so my TV can be hung without cables showing. I asked him to keep the power run up to the tv separate from the HDMI. Unfortuantly he has run them 1" apart. Any ideas if this will degredate the picture quality? I did a google search but got conflicting advice. Any experiences would be welcome

I have run my HDMI cable to my wall mounted LCD TV alongside power cables pretty much all the way, trapped in behind the skirting board for quite a distance as well. I don't see any 'noise' or degradation in quality of HD picture from sources including Blu-Ray that I can detect.

I wouldn't loose sleep over it.
