al least:j river or j play for best audio result?

mu set up is aut of order so....

i use win 7X64 ,usb to spdif ,art legato (16/44.1( all my C.D.),bryston bs26,abarry, 408/exposure 4dr,

naim dac , psu 555ps (old  vesrion),rogers 5/9.any suggestion?

I am sure it is interesting.  I just dont think people can figure out what you are asking about?

 

JRiver is the best media player out there in my opinion.

 

JPlay is a bunch of BS in my opinion.

I'm sorry to say you are so immensely wrong.

 

Really, I can't understand why some people aren't able to notice the difference.

In my opinion it is so obvious, that I wonder where it is that others go amiss.

 

My Naim system is XS level with HiCap and Naim Dac with XPS, so not very high level Naim.

 

I have built a dedicated PC and have a very good USB SPDIF converter, but the improvement on something like JRiver is very clear.

One has to give up on music management conveniences like JRiver and use JPlay mini with hibernation modes, Kernel Streaming with DirectLink or very small buffer sizes to get the best, but the difference in quality is so obvious.

 

I can only imagine people use non-dedicated, general purpose and non-optimised PC's and/or less good USB converters or dirty PSU's, etc.
