3rd party apps for making playlists

Hi
I was recently talking to someone in a hifi shop about how to make playlists on the fly (on iphone/pad) that would show up on n-stream for my uniti. He recommended a 3rd party app that can do this. I have since forgotten the name of the app, and he has now left the shop! Any ideas?
