Wilco Johnson's acting?

Anyone catch WJ in Game of Thrones this week?
Excellent glaring, don't think he spoke.
Just expected him to suddenly slide across the floor or defend his charges with a Telecaster.
Given that his character has had his tongue torn out, he's not very talkative.
Still he continues to look as scary as he did with the Feelgoods.
Doh! 
Must have missed that detail, even SWMBO who has read the books failed to point that out.
He does do scary very well though.
Thanks for that, but I do have a level of incompetence to maintain.
