No just missed it.

It had sold out by the time i worked out how to use the site while it was messing about.

Lots now on evil bay at silly money.

It was $150.

Crikey, from $130 new on Monday to $800 via the profiteers a few days later.  That's some serious appreciation.

It gives me the right hump.

IMO it should be stopped .

I don't no how though.

Just hope people don't pay those prices.

I have sent Ryan a email about it.

Its such a shame for people that want to own and play those great analogue recordings.

It is easy to stop - just don't buy from them .... when they can't sell 'em the price will plummet.

Several collections I have are now being sold at silly prices; I would prefer it if folk could buy them at reasonable prices and enjoy the music

BTW - complete Manilow available at bargain price if you're interested.

You can buy quite of a few of the Ryan Adams vinyl albums individually at sensible prices.

Guy,

The RA Boxset are not his digital recorded studio albums.

You cant buy these anywhere else.

Its funny though you are going to be able to download them soon from his site.

But there will be a lot of stuff missing.

This set was a one off very LTD edition as it stands at the mo.

Trying to get him to press more so those bastards on evil bay get stuck with them.

Box sets are evil things to me!!  On the one hand they are fantastic looking.  On the other, I know I'll never, ever get round to properly sitting down and listening to them.  And still I recently bought the Jimi Hendrix 9lp box set.  Don't ask me if it's good - I've not heard any of it yet and, knowing my form Christmas will come and go without the vinyl seeing the light of day!  So, in a way I'm glad Ryan Adams' latest monster set is already no longer available (I'd probably have bought it!).

Well, after waiting 4 months for Paxam to come up with releasing the lp's individually, I got bored and bit the bullet by paying ludicrous money for one of the ludicrously limited boxsets that no one seemed to be able to get their hands on. I actually went to the Manchester date in this set, it was very special and probably the best gig I've been to. The vinyl sound absolutely stunning, perfectly pressed and the packaging is gorgeous. It's ridiculous that this set was so limited. Here's my box, now opened and currently playing, like it was made to be and not sat sealed in a cupboard.

I gotta ask why?

I loved his first 2-3 albums.  But after that he went downhill fast.  He recorded every song that popped into his head.  $800 for this?  Are you kidding me?

Count,

Congrats on your vinyl box set of live vinyl albums that have not had a computer or pro-tools anywhere  near them.

Enjoy man.

A very green Stu.

Thanks Stu. Let's hope they release the lp's individually so you can hear them. I was playing them until 1:00am last night and they are superb.

Count,

A good friend of mine for nearly 30 years who lives 10mins up the road got a copy when it was first put on the site for normal money.

I have heard nearly all of the LPs now.

He brings a couple every time he comes round for a music session.

Ryan has said they wont be out on there own,but you never know.

He seems to keep his word when he says something though.

Its a shame the box set was so limited because the greedy bastards that have no interest in music,(Just making money )always seem to get in first.

I mist out by only a hour or two then a day because i didn't see the emails in my in box.

It still pisses me off.

Can i ask what you had to pay for your set?

Stu.

Stu, on the Paxam site they stated they would be releasing the lp's individually, but that was June 27th. They might still do it.

Stu you get the set off Amazon MP3 if you are that desperate for it but there are a lot of repeat tracks. Sound on the set seems to be excellent.

Did you buy the limited edition cassette from Burger Records he put out last month feat his shroom induced punk odyssey? 1000 copies only
Posted on: 16 October 2012 by Gale 401

No to both.

I am only interested in the no computer vinyl.

You should keep an eye on http://www.ryanadamsarchive.com/ if you don't already know about it.

It is a fan site that Ryan approves of.
