What is your most played album in full?

As above, mine is Foolish behaviour by Rod stewart, originally on vinyl then cassette and eventually on cd. Which album have you played the most "all the way through" over the years, excluding greatest hits and compilations etc. It might not even be your favourite album of all time, just something that always seems to be in the car or getting a regular play on the home hi-fi!
Steve
It is a close call between Larks Tongues in Aspic and Red.

Of all time, very likely to be either Rubycon or Close to the Edge, if current, then impossible to say as mood and sheer volume of albums available now makes for frequent genre changes for me. <hopes he spelt genre correctly, as gender change not on the cards and doesn't want the PP's after me>
In 1982 I kept a record of what I played, a little book by the record deck with 'five bar gates' crossed off in it.
To my surprise Japan 'Tin Drum' came top, ahead of Yes, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, VDGG, and Genesis, any of which I would have guessed higher.
Yes 'Close to the Edge' would probably be a contender for me, and Led 'Zeppelin 'Physical Grafitti', but I don't know.
This year it would be Arc 'Arcturus' but I haven't had that enough years to contend for all time.
Selling England by the Pound and Dark Side Of The Moon... Still good even 40 years later.
Dylan's Blood on the Tracks i would think, followed closely by Dire Straits first album
Easy for me. Abbey Road. Variously, in six different formats over the years.
Chet Baker, Live in Toyko
crime of the century supertramp, blood on tracks bob nebraska bruce ella louie 1956
Interesting subject for a thread. Over the past 35 years or so I'd say it was probably the Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" or "Animals", both albums designed to be played in full. Bowie's "Low", The Who "Live At Leeds" and JD's "Unknown Pleasures" are also strong candidates. And of course, classical albums, by their very nature, always tended to get played from start to finish.
In the past few months I'd say it was Bobbie Gentry's "Touch 'Em With Love".
In the vinyl era - and this is still largely the case today - I'd always listen to a new album from start to finish, it was only later I'd start selecting individual songs.
Somewhere between these two
Aja and Chopin Nocturnes played by Nelson Freire
Difficult but interesting question.
Either Posthumous Silence by Sylvan, or Scenes of a Memory by Dream Theater or Live in Hamburg by E.S.T.
Hi Folks, some interesting and eclectric nominations comin in. I must mention that "foolish behaviour" is not actually my favourite album of all time, that honour falls to Paul Brady-Hard station. Keep the nominations rollin in, although takes a bit of thinkin!!

Because of the ages i would say the Rolling stones ..sticky fingers and Floyd's Dark side of the moon ....but in more recent times i would say The Besnard Lakes are the dark horse
Deeply unfashionable no doubt, but there it is.
As a debut album it's up there with 'Can't Buy a Thrill' - 'Pronounced Lynyrd Skynyrd' and 'Murmur'.
John.
Toyah - Anthem (deeply uncool I know)
Actually wore the original cassette tape out before re-purchasing on vinyl and then CD, still listen to it all the way through occasionally even now.
Lifetime most played in full....hmmm. I still play bits of some of my all time favourites such as REM 'Automatic For The People' and Prefab Sprout 'Steve McQueen' but rarely all of each now.
I reckon it may be Jethro Tull 'Aqualung' or even Horslips 'Book of Invasions'. At a certain time I probably played one or the other most days (possibly because I only owned a handful of other albums). Both deserve to be heard all the way through too.
Of more recent stuff does Kate Bush Aerial count if it is just CD2?
King Creosote and John Hopkin 'Diamond Mine' may trump the lot in year or so anyway.
Bruce
It's already trumped everything for me Bruce.
Diamond Mine - King Creoste & Jon Hopkins

Yup; me too James.
It is a thing of very rare beauty.
John.
Thanks for the prompt, hadn't actually listened to Anthem on my new (pre-loved) CDX2.2/252/SC/300.
Toyah is still rubbish, but hugely enjoyable and it is astonishing how much more there is to appreciate through such a revealing system. Especially noticeable with music I know well.
On vinyl, probably this one, narrowly in front of The Nightfly.
