Hedy West's Vanguards cds being reissued.

Hedy West collected and sang traditional mountain music from among other sources, her grandmother's childhood, is credited with writing 500 Miles and has recorded Cold Rain and Snow which was written by her friend and fellow mountain musician Obray Ramsey, also recorded by the Grateful Dead.
In addition to being a great singer of valuable songs, she was a great old time banjo picker and she had great sounding instruments.
CD Universe is advertising that the British reissue label Ace will be releasing her two, long out of print, epic Vanguard albums on one cd on August 7th. For all intents and purposes, these sides have been only marginally available for decades.
Ace's site has no mention of it. I've read that the Japanese reissue cut two songs and it generally went for more than $40. I would presume these tracks will be restored in this release.
I, for one, am eager and grateful.
