is it time for naim to produce units without internal power supplies to save customers paying for internal psu then upgrading and having to disconnecting the mains supply to it

I assumed he meant that Naim should never have internal power supplies. Not sure now :-/

Yes. I was being pedantic. Some people don't want external PSs. It's nice to have a choice. I don't see any sign of Naim supplying their CDP range without internal DACs, which would IMO be a more logical first step into such a multi-boxed utopia.
