nDAC/XPS

What will be best quaility source for the capitoned, nd5xs, ndx or cd5x? Currently i am using cd5x and seeking some sound improvement. Thanks all.

I suppose it matters more if you are looking to get into streaming or stay with CD ?

I'm running CD5XS + MacBook/Halide Bridge into the nDAC.

I usually play the CD instead of the rip; CD playback still has the better "vibe" for me.

Depending on what you want to achieve, if I were looking at options, the UnitiServe makes a lot of sense given you have the nDAC. The US can play CD's on the fly so you can sell the CD5 without losing the ability to play CD's.

However I'm unsure on how the US compares to the CD5XS because the disc mechanisms are quite different.

I use UnitiQute digital output only into nDac/XPS2, great source but as other posters have mentioned are you looking to get into streaming? To my ears this sounds equal if not better than an NDX/XPS2 combo.

You can pick up a UnitiQute for around a grand used or ex-dem
