Hello together,
yesterday I found out that my Uniti can not connect to the Internet/LAN.
After a reboot the display shows "time not synchtonized via Internet" (in German).
I checked the Network settings and all looks fine. The switch connected to the Uniti detects a link.
After that I connected the Uniti directly to my Laptop (with another Ethernet cable) and tried to check the connection. No ping is possible.
With Wireshark (Ethernet sniffer) I can not see packets send by the Uniti. It does not matter if I have a fixed IP or DHCP configured.
I tried to check if WLAN is working, but the Uniti does not find my WLAN ( but many other WLAN,s)..
Today I will try to have a closer look at this.
Anybody any ideas?
Thank you in advance.
It looks like, that the Ethernet phy. is working because of the link, but the Ethernet MAC fails.

Can you log into your router and see whether the Uniti has an entry in the ARP or DHCP tables? It may give you a clue about what is happening. Have you tried a different Ethernet cable just to rule out a bad connection?
Regarding WLAN are you broadcasting your SSID?

Hi Steve, you say link is up but mac address failing? The link establishes mac address so not sure on that.
As save says check the arp / mac address tables on the switch to see if you your Naim mac address appears.
If not check the Ethernet cable.
Also try forcing 100mbps, full duplex on your switch router if the cable is fine.
I think as save says your wifi issue is separate, check your SSID is switched on.
Can other devices see your router wifi signal.

Hello together,
thank you for your answers.
I have not seen the Uniti in the ARP or DHCP table of the router, because the Uniti has not sent any packet (confirmed by Wireshark). Of course I have changed the cable, and the switch is configured to 100MBits.
The funny thing is, today I have done the same as yesterday, and today it works !?
The only different thing is, I have connected the seriel interface to a terminal programm, hoping to see some more informations.
I will monitor this problem over a few weeks.
Regards Stephan
