Thanks for the Music 'Wallander'

Although Krister Henriksson is my favourite screen Wallander, Rolf LassgÅrd - Sweden's answer to Gerard Depardieu - makes a good, miserable, shambling job of the part.

Enjoying an episode of 'The Fifth Woman' last Saturday evening, I heard some beautifully evocative female vocal music in the background. Using the magic of the 'Shazam' app and and a bit of inter-web paddling around, I identified the track as 'All My Tears' by Emmylou Harris (the song was written by Julie Miller).

I've never really been much of an EH fan, but her album 'Wrecking Ball' (containing 'All My Tears') is simply delightful. It has a musician's production hand upon it - Daniel Lanois. He plays on the album and delivers a set of beautiful songs set in a dreamy flowing landscape. A consistently great album for me.
