Mista h
The Firebird and Onegin at the ROH in January and February. Otherwise, have got tickets to hear Mark Knopfler in concert at RAH in May..
Richard,
Who's conducting the Firebird?
Kuma, It should be Barry Wordsworth conducting the Royal Opera House Orchestra along with the Royal Ballet. If their recent performance of Swan Lake was anything to go by, it should be quite fabulous. If you ever visit London you must definitely try to go to a performance at the Royal Opera House. It's a stunning building, I like the acoustics, and the performances are invariably world class. It's not as expensive as you think either. Restricted view seats go for around £6, and I managed to book a box for the Firebird for £20 a seat.
Zappa plays Zappa tomorrow, hope it's not just milking the legend and they have something to add.
I've got tickets for the Quadrophenia tour for both Nov. (I think it's next week!) and Dec.
Black Prairie this Sunday (the Decemberists minus Colin Meloy, plus others)
Neil Young sometime soon but I'm undecided. Might go.
Meet up 10th of May Denis?
Hi Howard, yup meet you there.
Now I need 6 months to discover if I like Mr Hackett & overcome my genesisphobia

Hi Ken,
Don't worry about your age @ the Alt-J gig, just enjoy the music. After all the age span for Floyd gig's was always 10-90.
Check out the Rae Morris YT songs, below, and see if they appeal. I'm seeing her support Fink at the end of the month, and she'll also be in "The Band" as well. Should be a good night.

Thank you Richard.
Sounds like fun indeed if you got a good enough seat. I didn't realise it's a ballet performance!
