I only found out last night that Muse are doing a 4 date UK Stadium tour next year so I quickly snapped up a couple of standing tickets for the Sunday at the Emirates, I've only seen Muse once on their first tour years ago and have been meaning to go again since, can't wait, I really hope they play 'Unsustainable' from their new album, I absolutely love that song

Anyone else got tickets? Here are the dates -

Coventry, Ricoh Arena - May 22
London, Emirates Stadium - (25, 26)
Manchester, Etihad Stadium - June 1

Sounds like it is going to be an interesting stage show -

Springsteen Live In Europe for 2013?

Now this is the most exciting news I've heard since the last time I saw Bruce back in the summer, now there is no official news yet but it looks like Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band are to play the Stade de France on June 29th

I saw Bruce at the 2 Paris shows this year and the July 5th show is considered to possibly be in his top 3 live gigs of all time , it was an amazing night.

If this turns out to be true, apparently to be confirmed very shortly, then surely Bruce can't go to France and not come to the UK, and as a bonus next year is the 30th anniversary of the release of his 1st album, Greeting From Asbury Park, could be a very special year for Bruce fans

Hi Paul,

I'm afraid you won't find too many Springsteen fans on this forum. I saw him with the E street Band a number of times in the '80s and he does put on a good show.

I hope all is going well. Will try and visit soon.

January - Costello in Auckland

March - Springsteen in Melbourne

April - Wilco in Auckland

April - Robert Plant in Auckland

Shows i'm missing because I simply can't go to everything - Neil Young & Crazy Horse, The Waterboys, The Stone Roses, Alabama Shakes, Cat Power...

As an interesting aside to Paul - I walked out of Springsteen's set at the Human Right's Now show in Harare in 1988 simply because, at that stage, I wasn't a fan (I went to see Peter Gabriel... it was post Born in The USA... I was only 20 etc.).  He went on record as saying it was one of his Top Three performances ever... Whether the location and emotion of the event had anything to do with it I have no idea.  He then played Auckland shortly before I arrived here in 2003 and this is the first time i've had to see him since.  Not going to blow it this time. After that the only other artist on my bucket list is Tom Petty, but i'm afraid that will most likely never happen..

Yes  - i'm a naimite and a Springsteen fan and proud of it

Anyway, apologies for the digresssion and back on point.

Managed to add another date to my Springsteen list for next year when it he visits Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in July and also got tix to see Meatloaf on his Farewell tour next year at the O2, I'm sure it won't be as good as when I saw him 20+ years ago but I just couldn't resist.

The idea is for 2 sets, the first being hits from his career then the 2nd set will be Bat Out Of Hell in its entirety, that has got to be worth the admission price alone, hopefully.
