We're off to see Martin Simpson on 17 May. He's playing in the church in Westbourne, less than a five minute walk from my house. A couple of hours of music, then it's only 50 yards to the pub.

Couldn't be bothered to see Alt-J in Cambridge last night, so watched Arsenal instead

Soundgarden is in next month and I'm looking forward to it. Their comeback album King Animal was quite enjoyable and I've seen Chris Cornell before fronting Audioslave and he's brilliant live performer.

Seen the B-52s five times this week.

Danced my arse off, met the band and got to an aftershow. Happy, happy, happy.
