Jan 28th Aimee Mann RFH.
Not long back from Alison Moyet at The Waterfront Hall Belfast, She was brilliant!
Lots of Yahzoo songs & songs from her new Minuets album.
On her last " Don't Go" The music started, all the front row started dancing, just as she started the vocal she stopped the song! saying she was singing the wrong words really confused the dancers at the front.
Nov 1st Brit Floyd Odessey Belfast
" 9th The National " "
Nov 15th Frightend Rabbit Mandela Hall Queens Uni Belfast
" 19th The Editors " " " " "
Steven Wilson at Bristol Colston Hall this evening.

Richard
Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell. Richard Thompson as support act.
Orpheum in Vancouver tomorrow night.
Great line up winky, there can't be many people who rate Richard as a support. ( greenface smiley)
Yesterday, Düsseldorf: The National
Good Concert:
Music: 4/5
Sound: 2,5-3/5

Richard was great. The best part of the show was where he came back on for a couple of acoustic tracks with Emmylou. And of course "Who knows where the time goes".
She is a class act. Not exactly my preferred style of music, but we very much enjoyed it.
Neko Case on next Saturday, looking forward to it. About a week and a half ago I went to Annihilator gig and was pretty much the toughest gig ever.
Enjoyable show - Bob's and Dave's talent shone as usual and the drummer was particularly good... Steve Gadd !
Gary Numan at the roundhouse, saturday night. fantastic gig.

That's good to hear. Played "Splinter" for the first time last night and thought it was brilliant! Am very impressed with how well he has taken care of his voice. Seems to be very little change in his range from 2-3 decades ago!
ATB.
Hook
Hi Hook
Yes his voice has not changed a bit albeit his music has, taking an altogether darker hue but there are still moments on the Splinter album where the old GN comes to life. You are right it is a brilliant album but to hear it live is truly amazing.
Aimee Mann, Sunday 17th November, Union Chapel.
Most excellent gig , she was on good form, support from Ted Leo, who she has made a record with. She came on stage to to do a couple of numbers with him, a punky sound on a semi acoustic Gibson.
Aimee had a bassist and pianist on stage, she performed numbers from the early albums to the latest.
A lack of audience talking and minimum movement was a bonus, unfortunately the pews were not.
Beth Hart at Roundhouse, Camden in about an hour .. cant wait.

We're seeing him in L.A. in December.
Embrace - Secret Gig - Somewhere - 14th December, really intrigued by the below though, and a little worried, certainly sounds like a night to remember -
'This is going to be unlike anything we have ever done before, and for your own safety the ticket price includes goggles, face mask and protective clothing. We expect that it will get messy so please wear old clothes and footwear... (interpret this as you will)'
Neko was so sweet! Amazing voice and awesome band. Highly recommended!
