Hi all,
I just recently bought a new ND5 XS and everything seems fine, sounds amazing, not put the TV on since! I'm streaming from an old Qnap TS209II pro which has the latest spec software. Twonky is running version 5.1.6. and the Naim is running version 3.9. Now either I have some settings problem but every so often it seems Twonky crashes, the music stops streaming, and Twonky starts importing or rebuilding my entire database of songs again. The log file displays this message which seems to be an error of some sorts.
EXT: Server: Linux/2.x.x, UPnP/1.0, pvConnect UPnP SDK/1.0
22:36:27:187 socket connect failed ip=127.0.0.1:9030 errno=111
22:36:27:188 [Error] - LOG_HTTP: HTTP_open: Failed to connect to ip=127.0.0.1 on port=9030
Ive tried fixed IP, DCHP, changed the Twonky settings to disable the automatic scans and now Im running out of ideas....Anyone got any or had some similar problem? Cant see anything on the forum..
Any help would be very much appreciated,
Steve

I had this frequent rebuild of the Twonky database issue when I upgraded my TS109II to 7.0.9. I ran out of patience trying to debug it (auto rescan was disabled) and eventually rolled back to 6.0.39 which is fine. NDX running 3.16 btw. I can only suggest that you upload 6.0.39 as a QPKG and run that in preference to the built in version. I also cycled the NDX on and off and cleared the uPNP cache in n-Stream to reset the whole system.
Worth checking that you dont have both the ND5 and n- Stream device as separate control points on the Media receivers page. If you do then they should be set to the same type. You could also run n-Stream in compatability mode, which will put your ND5 as the CP. What Media Receiver have you selected as this may not be compatible?

Thanks so much for that, just trying 6.0.39 now, I didnt even know that I could upgrade Twonky anymore. I see that Naim still arent in the list of media receivers, how about for version 7? Anyway fingers crossed that one of the things you suggest work, or else I guess its time to upgrade my Nas,
