Artist / Folder issues slowing up the system

I have spend the weekend moving around 160gb of flac compilations into my downloads folder on my new uniti serve.

All went well until of realised that I couldn't search via folders but had to search via artists, as I have ripped my compilations in flac as the meta data is so much better I have over 700 artists in the search bar.

Is there any way I can add search via folder and not artist as its making it impossible to navigate around the folders and has started so slow up the system.

Folders are how you organize files on a drive -- the Naim hardware doesn't care much about folders, and use (for flacs) the data in the tags. I can understand that with tons of compilations things will get messy, but I'm afraid that's just how it is. When I looked online for more info, I see that plenty of owners of other streamers from other companies have the same problem.

Probably best to try to organize by album title, or genre. Not what you want to hear, I know.
