DB Poweramp
Posted by: unclegaz on 18 September 2012
Evening chaps,
Having some issues with DB Poweramp.
It simply wont rip any cd's whatsoever. If I change the rip location to my pc rather than the NAS it works fine. DB Poweramp plays the cd as does WMP and Itunes. When it rips I get the ERROR message straight away.
Help!!!! Please!!!

Why not rip to your PC then transfer it to your NAS.

If you haven't, check the dBpoweramp forum, and maybe post there if you can't find a solution. Thanks!

I rip straight to NAS all the time with dBpoweramp. Mapped a path to the NAS share, selected this as the default in dBpoweramp and it just works... What error do you get?

I've had this problem. You need to make sure the PC you are ripping on has access rights to the NAS. I used to navigate to the relevant folder with File Explorer and then everything was fine.

I had the same issue until I synced my log on name and password on the PC to the one on my NAS. Once I'd done that the NAS connected on start up without me having to manually open the folder on the NAS ahead of starting any ripping

Thanks everyone.
All sorted. For some reason the path to the NAS drive was not working. As suggested ,I used explorer to locate the correct folder \\READYNAS\media\Music\ and Hey Presto it all came back.
No idea what caused it very strange!

Sweet glad you got it sorted. Now you know how to get it back, it may be worth making sure that it all reconnects properly after a shutdown. On my Mac Mini and MacBook Pro I just put my multimedia folder on the NAS in my login items. I've not used windows for some time but can't this be automatically connected at startup/login?
