Nserve online album lookup doesn't work after IOS 6 update

Posted by: Name on 26 September 2012

Since updating my iPad to IOS 6 I haven't been able to perform an onine album cover search to track down the pesky album covers that aren't automatically found. One pushes the online search feature but nothing happens, anyone else running the latest apple ios with the same problem?

Great news everyone. Here is the email I got from engineering support just this morning:
"a fix is in place and will be going into  next n-serve app release on the App store- earmarked for release around the end of November."

Very good news AD. The next bit of good news I'm hoping for is DTC for Mac.

Cheers, Bill

Just curious, does the new release of the n-Serve app contain some new functionality or will it be only some bug fixes?

Regards,

Michel

The app may not connect the first time -- try manually connecting (go to Setup and try to connect to it from there) and if that doesn't work try rebooting the HDX.  There is a long thread about this, from last week or so.  There really isn't anything wrong with the app, just that it might not see your networked device the first time it's run.
