Qute/AIFF Clarification Required

Hello. I recently ordered a Qute 24/96 and while awaiting delivery I have discovered some confusion about what it will and will not stream wirelessly. I would appreciate any absolute clarification as to the Qute's ability to stream AIFF wirelessly from a Mac Mini via iTunes.
My files are in Apple Lossless format right now and making the switch to AIFF within iTunes is fairly easy, but if the Qute cannot do it, then I may cancel the order and wait for the UnitiLite.
Just connect your Mac Mini using an optical cable (mark Grant or Wireworld) to the S/PDIF input on the Qute and then it'll play everything including direct from iTunes.
Absolutely - even better with a Dac V1
Alternatively - Minimserver is an excellent UPnP server for a Mac and works very well with Naim streamers.
