R.I.P. "Big" Jim Sullivan

A local to us music legend passed away yesterday.

Although a local to Sussex in recent year sdue his and his wife's music club in Coolham, many famous people have played there.

For those who think they don't know Jim, he was a session musician with over 1500 credits, so leaves a massive legacy. There are many YouTube guitar lesson and such like videos available.

Google his name for a list.

He joins another famous Jim ( Pitts) who passed a few months back.

Wow that's sad Howard. He played some great guitar on some great records and was a real 60s session stalwart, alongside Page, JP Jones and Clem Cattini.

Page - in a rare show of giving credit where it's due - acknowledged the help that Big Jim gave him early in his career (for a while they were known as "Big Jim" and "Little Jim" on the session circuit).
