Heads Up Neil Young Vinyl Bargain

Posted by: Richard S on 06 October 2012

Amazon are offering the forthcoming Neil Young & Crazy Horse Triple LP "Psychedelic Pill" on pre-order today for a bargain £18.85

By comparison it is 75 quid on HMV online...

I've just pre-ordered and thought a few others might be interested.

Nice one!

Just cancelled my pre-order on another site and gone with amazon.

Thanks for the heads up. Ordered.

That just has to be a mistake on Amazon - found it last night on 'Spin' then just pressed 'pre order with one click' before it disapeared when I saw the price.

It will be found very rapidly with the amount that is going to be ordered.

From what I can gather from this stu yes!

In early August, we were treated to recordings live shows on the Internet from his two-night stand at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater. Both show consisted of primarily new material and some choice covers that blended well with the upcoming tracks.  For audience tapes, both shows were well mixed and balanced so the listener could hear the lyrics and enjoy Neil’s guitar meanderings.

Scrub that Stu just found this

Psychedelic Pill was produced by Neil Young along with John Hanlon and Mark Humphreys, and was recorded directly following the sessions for Americana. It will be available as a double-CD and as a triple vinyl LP, which won’t be available until Nov. 23. As with Americana, full-length videos will be produced for each of the songs on Psychdelic Pill.

You are all very welcome!

I have had many good tips on here from the likes of Stu and Debs; the Pink Floyd collection for 50 quid was probably the best deal.  Pleased I can return the compliment.

Nice one! Maybe I´m cheap, but I will smile everytime I put it on, knowing I paid the same price as a pencil cost in Norway. The youtube link sounds great. Looking forward to this one

I assume that is legal?

Posted on: 08 October 2012 by Steve J

My order is still listed. Amazon have been good in honouring their pre-order prices before so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I think it is legal though for them to pull the deal as their conditions are stead, as above, and no money has changed hands. Fingers crossed.

Amazon have stopped offering the triple vinyl set for sale but show it available via just one other seller for £75

Very glad i have an original priced up copy for £18.85  waiting in my pre-orders.

Will have to wait to see if they honour it...

but they may cancell, and only offer it for the Psychedelic Bill

I'm reading his book. Interesting for sure, but I think he's kind of losing it (as he has every right to do). Some strange musings on some things. A bespoke electric car? What's that all about?

I have just had a mail from amazon saying delivery date has changed from October  due to release date being changed by there supplier.

Its now November 19th.

Nothing about changing the price.
