HDMI - long cable runs a challenge?

Members,

I'm considering a room lay-out change, which would move a Pioneer plasma screen approx. 7m from DVD player and Sky box. Sadly, the latter cannot move too.

I'm planning to use good quality cables but am wondering if I'm going to experience a material drop-off in picture quality.

Anyone got experiences of long cable runs and what cables did you use?

7m should be ok. Runs of 10m and more tend to pose more of a problem. However there are reliable cable sellers out there specialising in longer hdmi cables which guarantee to work over distances up to 25m. Hdconnectivity and tvcables i've used for hdmi leads up to 15m and would recommend.
