Apple Lossless, itunes and Naim

Can an ND5/NDX/NDS/HDX play apple lossless and can they access my itunes playlists? Also if I swap my CDS3 for an HDX reusing my 555ps will I notice the loss of cd quality.

All play ALAC. However they cannot access your playlists.

Have a look at the specs.

If you put your music on a Mac Mini and play it through a Naim DAX/555PS you'll notice a gain in sound quality (IMHO)

I agree with guy, or put a 555PS on the NDAC connected to the HDX and you will get a more enjoyable and insightful presentation than the CDS3/555PS alone over a wider style of music.
