Guilty Pleasures

What guilt pleasure trackwould you play if you had access to a higher level system than you already own, and the ability to crank it up to eleven?  Mine would be 'Don't Cha' by PCD.

I haven't got any records by five-piece Aberdeen covers band, the Guilty Pleasures, who usually play gigs in public houses, taverns and croft inns set in the wilderness of the Shire. Problem is the band only seems to in and around Aberdeen even though band members have supported touring bands such as Girlschool, Gun, The Zico Chain, Electric Eel Shock, Attack Attack and Hell's Bells. It is a bit far for me.

OK, don't tell my Lord Emsworth, but I occasionally play records by The Smiths.

Why would anyone need a higher level system than the one they own to crank up a guilty pleasure or two?

I simply don't get the concept of guilty pleasures. We make musical choices all the time. Some of them are away from the norm and not accepted as credible by others. So what? We make those choices because things make sense to us at a given time. Years later those things may not be accepted classics. They may not even be that good but upon playing them they'll usually be capable of triggering memories of the time; the place etc. That is a key function of music and as valid as any other reason for loving something. Guilty? Not me.

I'm totally confused i thought this thread was about Guilty Pleasures: who are a rock band from Aberdeen.
