Are you sure it's not a wind up? He often plays tricks like that.

I hope you're wrong Littlefeat. I listen to Danny most days on my way home from work. He's a bit eccentric but entertaining.

One of the few people on radio/TV I can stand; I enjoy the show - the topics, the music, and the fact the guest interviews aren't the standard brain dead fare. That said, if it allows more 'Don't Tell The Bride', or the BBC News to have three newsreaders on screen and a bigger sports news studio, I'm for the cut.

Cheers,

Danny Baker is a great radio presenter ... what are the BBC thinking of.

Not more Colin Murray, because if that's what they want then what'll happen

The sausage sandwich game is legendary and I'm hoping to get the computer version for Christmas.

Baker said to save money the station should "get rid of two-thirds of the middle management" who were "clinging like limpets to a very great uncreative life". He was paid £300 a show after deductions.

Absolutely right in his synopsis ... and true for most corporations I fear.

We "was" robbed. I just hope his  "mate" C. Evans is next.

+1

I've only listened to his Saturday morning show. Never managed to stomach more than 10 minutes. However, he isn't the worst, when Richard Bacon was doing the late night show I'd quite often switch over to radio 4 and listen to the shipping forecast.
