Iphone app crashing?

iPhone 5, repeatedly crashes when trying to read a thread, iphone rebooted, app deleted, app reinstalled, still bloody crashes.

Is anyone else having this?

I have experienced this with some threads (e.g. the F1 thread, I have to use the laptop to read and post for that one) but not all. I have an earlier version of iPhone though.

And yet using the web version of the forum, all is well.

And some wonder why I don't stream music! I hate this sort of problem.

Apart from having to constantly switch to the standard view because the mobile view is totally f@#king useless.

I constantly have to re tap buttons on the ipad on this forum to open up anything.Strange as it does not happen with any other website, just this one.

Use chrome on iPhone / iPad. You should be good.

Peter, tried it with no success.

 

Whŷ would using Chrome improve things if it does not occur on any other site with native ipad brouser? Suffice to say it does not work. .

Have you tried it? I know chrome works for me as I am using it to type on my iPhone now.

Tom,  I do not use the app at all. In fact, I would avoid using using any app unless it is absolutely necessary.

The problem lies with the app. All the browsers I've tried work fine.

OK, so it is the app. However, maybe unrelated to the original topic, I very much prefer Chrome to Safari on all Mac machines - whether it is iMac, Macbook, iPhone or iPad. Personally, I think Safari is a daft browser.

Definitely nothing to do with the original topic. So why on earth does the app crash on selection of only that thread? Is there a conspiracy by a few members against me? If so, make the jokes thread crash! Tony

Tony my apologies for being off topic, it really was to echo the problems there seems to be with the Naim forum, which does not apply to other sites.

 

The problems are random, but are still problems that need resolving.

Tom K and someone else said that the problem was with the app. Chrome and others are fine.
