Posted on: 14 November 2012 by California Jim

I got the Linn email and will definitely download the HiDef.

Believe it or not, I have no Stones in my collection and this

will satisfy the desire end that lack.  I've listened to the samples

and it all sounds fabulous!

Has anyone else downloaded this from the Linn site. I would be interested in your views?

I got loads of Elvis albums - I think you gotta have more than one

  • My Aim Is True
  • This Year's Model
  • Armed Forces
  • Get Happy!!
  • Almost Blue
  • Trust
  • Imperial Bedroom
  • King of America
  • Blood & Chocolate
  • The Juliet Letters
  • Brutal Youth
  • All This Useless Beauty
  • Painted from Memory
  • North
  • The Delivery Man
  • Momofuku
  • Secret, Profane & Sugarcane
  • National Ransom

Got quite a few Stones albums ... I have most of the stuff on Grrr so haven't been tempted thus far. Is it worth getting if you have lots of vinyl. I have London singles CD set and that is thoroughly recommended.

I think Doom and Gloom is the best thing they've done since their golden days in the late 60s/early 70s.

Downloaded grrr from linn last night. Definitely an improvement in sound quality compared to my cd rips. Lots more detail which I had not noticed before. £24 for 50 classics is good value in my book, if you own naim kit you really should try to obtain the best versions of your favourite artists Which is 24 bit masters !

Tried to charge me 35€. Just because I am in Switzerland. And we don't even use the euro. Robbing ****s. But I registered as a UK address. And paid with my Swiss credit card. Hah!
