About to buy a Unitiqute...

Posted by: Naimist on 14 November 2012

Hi all,

Just joined the forum although I have been reading this forum for a while now. Anyhow, I couldn't resist the Unitiqute price cut any longer and I'm about to pull the trigger!  Do any current owners have any advice, hints or tips? Source will be an Apple TV (1st gen) connected via optical. Speakers are Sjofn 'The Clue' (similar to Guru QM10s).

Can't wait!

Are you sure? I just paid 7 times the price I once got it for in 1998/99

Michael, I don't go back that far, but I have just topped up at around 60~65p a litre which is about the same as over two years ago and we are coming upto peak season. In the last 2 to 3 years gas and electricity has risen significantly.

Just to throw my hat in the ring. Living in rural ireland, I have I use oil for heating. Just filled my 1000 litre tank and it cost me almost €1000. This compares to same refill 2 years ago that would have cost me €650, and 2 years prior to that €450.

Blimey.. Nearly a euro a litre... Pricey... At least here in rural Suffolk in EnglandI haven't had to adjust my account direct debits for oil for the last three years.. I wish it was the same for my electricity account, which has to be adjusted every year!!
