Sometimes ns01 has problems with flac tags that looks ok.

Today I downloaded 2 albums in Flac format from Murfie.com.

Both albums were shown with artist as unknown, but when I looked at the tags both with db poweramp and mp3 tag, the correct name was in the tag and the same for all tracks.

I have seen this a few times before, sometimes the server will only show some tracks on an album if the artist is not the same for all tracks, wich is ok, but at times an album will not show up or not with the information that is in the tag.

On the one album today I could just rewrite the existing tags to the album and the problem was solved. On the other album I had to import tags from internet sources.

I am the only one that has experienced this?

I have the original files so I am probably going to write support about it also.

Sometimes files can contain an incorrect tag format. I have had FLAC files with ID3V2 tags in them. This is easily overlooked and not every software will show it. But if you are using MP3Tag, then you should be able to identify such problems. Just have a look at the "Tag" field in MP3Tag.
