Unitiqute - sound from blu rays

I'm using a Unitiqute with connections as follows:

HDMI from Sony Blu Ray player to TV

Optical Digital from TV to Unitiqute

When I play DVDs the sound works fine through the Unitiqute.

However, when I play Blu Rays I just get hizz/fuzz from the Unitiqute.

Help - why is this happening? (Further details on request obviously...)

You need to configure the Bluray player to down mix the audio to 2 channel PCM. There will be a setting somewhere in the audio configuration.
