Dave Brubeck

Don't normally write these things but I have just learned that jazz great Dave Brubeck has died at age 91. Wonderful musician and human being who lived a long and creative life. Dave had kindness, humility, and integrity. Going to put "Take Five" on the platter tonight in his honor.

We saw him twice at the Barbican, 1995 and 2005, and was just a great performer.

I will spin some black mono stuff in memory of a gifted musician later.
