How about those Seahawks!

Time for a REAL football post on this forum .
The Seahawks are playoff bound for certain. With a rookie QB and looking better each game. Should be an interesting post-season.
Nice try, but this one is a North American bird that hails from Seattle.
I prefer Tony's Seahawk
Proper stuff made in GB who made airplanes look so beautiful that they have become porn for old farts like me who saw them in their hayday when the annual pilgrimage to Farnborough was de rigueur for every snotty nosed erk.
Without taking away anything from the beautiful British airplane of the same name, the football Seahawks were spectacular last night. The playoffs promise to bring some great games.
We had Buccaneers too
What about the old English electric lightening?
Anyone got a photo of that beauty?

Plenty, but I think we were trying to link to NFL teams as well as classic aircraft.
Captain Geoffrey Thorpe (Errol Flynn) is a privateer, one of several Sea Hawks, who on behalf of Queen Elizabeth I keep the shipping lanes open
One of the greatest film scores ever composed too - by Erich Wolfgang Korngold
Far too modern Jamie & its a johnny foreigner design to boot.

It first flew in the sixties! And is only a bit frog.
The Buccaneer stopped flying mid nineties.
I think it fits.
Better than a Texan anyway.
Happy now?
Sorry you're disqualified under the rules. There are no teams called The Hunters in the NFL. Unless you count the Redskins.

A phenomenal aircraft - Youtube "English Electric Lightning Tribute" for a great short film which I was watching with my father just the other week. He remembers its arrival at RAF Leuchars with great fondness for an engineering era long gone. G
Blimey!
My son is a big Packers fan. We're hoping for a Seahawks/Packers rematch. Aaron Rogers has some amazing accuracy. Discount double check!

There's got to be an aircraft named the Falcon, doesn't there?
The Lockheed S-3 Viking is used the US Navy for anti-submarine and, of course, anti-Packer warfare.
Not British. Otherwise you may as well include these...
And one of these...
And that.
