What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.IX)

With 2013 upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Hi George,

It's a grower. I was a bit disappointed by a seeming blandness at first, but over time have grown to appreciate the subtly brilliant and sympathetic interpretations.

Cheers,

If your a prog fan, like early (Gabriel) Genesis, Yes, Crimson, & have yet to hear Big Big Train do yourself a huge favour and google them. Loads of music to stream on their site, and some neat interviews on the insight page, especially the European Perspective where there is a load of brilliant tunes.

Visit their shop and be prepared to be amazed at the prices.

You will probably have heard of at least one band member, but this music is far removed from his former life in XTC..
